The Memorial Garden

The vision of a group of dedicated parishioners led by St. Gregory’s own talented landscape designer Jim Dinsmore, the original Memorial Garden at St. Gregory’s was built in 2004  This beautiful space has proven to be a wonderful asset to the wider community, and is used  for purposes as diverse as Peace Day celebrations, yoga classes, kids’ playdates, or even a refreshing spot in which workmen might eat their lunch.

Described in the press as ‘one of the hidden jewels of the Catskills’,  the Memorial Garden has recently been designated a member of The Quiet Garden Trust, a UK-based international organiation which ackowledges special places of quiet, and hospitality.
